Joël Lalancette

Administrator

Farmer and entrepreneur at heart, Joël Lalancette bought his first agricultural land at the age of 18. Over the years, he ventured into several business endeavors, culminating in a pivotal moment in 2010 when he focused on research and development for greenhouse strawberry cultivation. What began as a modest project spanning 3,000 square feet blossomed into a grand accomplishment by 2018, with his greenhouse operations expanding to an impressive 330,000 square feet. His dedication propelled him to the position of the largest greenhouse strawberry producer in North America.

Following this success, he decided to dedicate himself to the development of 5 Points Cannabis. Together with his partners, they orchestrated the rise of a nationally recognized enterprise, with 5 Points now proudly distributing throughout 7 provinces.

Driven by his pursuit of excellence in product quality and customer service , Joël perceives cannabis cultivation as a noble form of agriculture. He thrives in the company of equally passionate individuals, relishing the opportunity to collaborate with emerging producers and nurture their growth potential. Known for his prudent cost management and visionary leadership, Joël leaves an indelible mark on the industry.

In both professional and personal realms, Joël and his wife Mélanie strike a harmonious balance between work and family life. Cultivating an appreciation for life's joys is paramount to them, as they delight in sharing enriching experiences with their three children, whether it's exploring new destinations or enjoying leisurely boat rides..
