The Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) is responsible for the retail sale of cannabis with a focus on protecting public health. Its mission is to bring consumers into the legal cannabis market and keep them there, without encouraging cannabis use.
Our mandate is social, and the health and safety of our customers are our top priorities. Over the long term, we aim to reduce the reach of the illicit cannabis market.
Our profits are paid into a fund that is reinvested, notably in cannabis prevention and research.
