Shawn has held several positions in the cannabis industry since joining Canopy Growth Corporation in 2018—initially as Category Management Director and more recently as Global Head of Premium Flower—spanning both operational and commercial functions. He also completed the Ganjier (certified cannabis sommelier) course to deepen his cannabis knowledge for his current role as Global Head of New Product Development and Genetics Strategy. Prior to his career in cannabis, Shawn held various sales and strategy roles at General Mills Canada, starting as a sales representative for the Outaouais and Laurentians region. A graduate of Samuel-de-Champlain Elementary School in Central Ontario, he is committed to pursuing his passion for Quebec-based initiatives in both official languages.
