Global Head of New Product Development & Genetic Strategy

Shawn has held several roles in the Cannabis industy since joining Canopy Gowth Corporation in 2018 starting with Director of Category Management and most recentlly as the Global Head of Premium Flower in both Operational and Commercial functions. He has also completed the Ganjier (certified Cannabis Sommelier) course to further gain Cannabis Insight in his current role as Global Head of New Product Development & Genetic Strategy. Prior to Cannabis, Shawn worked in several sales and strategy roles at General Mills Canada beginning as a représentant des ventes dans la region d’Outaouis et Laurentides. As a graduate of Ecole Samuel to Champlain elementary school in Central Ontario, he is keen on continuing his passion for Quebec driven initiatives in both official languages.
