Restrictive regulation: difficult for the cannabis industry to operate in QuebecEconomy

Although cannabis was legalized at the same time in all Canadian provinces, regulations remain stricter in Quebec, says Michel Timperio, chairman of the board of directors of the Quebec Cannabis Industry Association.

"We are governed by a regulation that is much more restrictive. In Quebec, there is a survival that is currently done, because it is not easy for the industry to operate in the Quebec context," he said on the occasion of the international day of cannabis during the Noovo Le Fil 17 bulletin hosted by Marie-Christine Bergeron.
