Public consultation scheduled for OctoberAQIC

The Régie des marchés agricoles et alimentaires du Québec will hold a public consultation regarding the application for accreditation by the Association québécoise de l’industrie du chanvre et du cannabis (AQIC). This consultation will take place on October 23, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., via Zoom.

Following your registration, you will receive an email containing a link to a secure upload portal where you may submit the document supporting your oral presentation, or at minimum a summary of it. The submission must consist of a single PDF file of no more than 20 pages.

Each presentation will be allotted 30 minutes, with the possibility of receiving up to an additional 30 minutes with the Régie’s authorization.

You will also be invited to a preparatory conference to be held via Zoom on September 29, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. The purpose of this meeting will be to establish how the public consultation will proceed, confirm the participation of the interested parties, and address any other requests, including those related to the length of presentations. A link to join the conference will be sent by email.

If you wish to submit written comments only, you may do so no later than 12:00 p.m. on September 25, 2026, by contacting rmaaqc@rmaaq.gouv.qc.ca and specifying file number 860-11-01. You will then receive a link to a secure upload portal for your document. The submission must consist of a single PDF file of no more than 20 pages.

If you wish to observe the consultation without participating, it will be livestreamed on the Régie’s YouTube channel.
