The AQIC held its annual general meeting in the Montreal metropolitan area, bringing together more than 130 participants and decision-makers from some 100 organizations representing over 10,000 jobs in Quebec. This meeting highlighted the growing economic importance of the hemp and cannabis industry, its role in regional diversification, and the priorities the Association will focus on as the upcoming elections approach. The AGA also highlighted hemp’s significant potential for Quebec, particularly in the fields of construction, eco-materials, and the green transition, and announced the election of Mathieu Aubin and Philippe Dépault to the AQIC board of directors.
